Juventus have reached an agreement in principle for Maurizio Sarri to join the club but they will have to pay compensation to Chelsea.

After weeks of speculation and links to the likes of Pep Guardiola and Mauricio Pochettino, reports from both the UK and Italy suggest Sarri will be the next Juve coach.

Sky Sport Italia report that an agreement has been reached for Sarri to be released from his Chelsea contract and an announcement could come in the next 24 hours.

The BBC report along similar lines saying a deal in principle has been agreed on and the Bianconeri will have to pay £5m in compensation to the Blues.

The Guardian, The Telegraph, SportItalia and an assortment of others report much the same with Sarri expected to sign a three-year contract to coach Juventus.

With the stalemate over compensation ended, an official announcement from the club could come tomorrow while Sarri may be presented as the new coach next week.
