Chelsea have reportedly told Atlético Madrid to pay €50m for Álvaro Morata – or risk his loan move being cancelled.

Morata joined Atlético on an 18-month loan in January, following the arrival of Gonzalo Higuaín from Juventus.

According to Telegraph Sport, Chelsea have the option to recall the 26-year-old this summer if Los Rojiblancos do not buy him.

Morata presents a reasonable attacking option with the Blues now hamstrung by a FIFA imposed two-window transfer ban.

The former Real Madrid striker fell out with Maurizio Sarri, but could be handed a fresh start at Stamford Bridge under Frank Lampard.

Atlético, meanwhile, have offered €126m for Benfica wonderkid João Félix as they search for their Antoine Griezmann replacement.
